What are your Dailies?




Well, you may ask, what is a Daily before answering that question.  They are the things that you must do, at a minimum, to meet your mind, body, and spirit nourishment each day.  These are individual and unique to you.  

Your mind needs engagement, expansion, and growth to be healthy.  You may need to read something inspirational each day, or read a blog, try something new, or learn something new.  Be curious, ask questions, go one level deeper in your understanding.

Your body needs movement and nourishment (helps your mind/brain as well 😊 ).  What works for you? Walking, jogging, running, strength training, swimming, palates, yoga?   Just move on a daily basis – find what works for you and commit to it as a minimum daily.

As for nourishment, I am a big proponent of eating well.  Make healthy choices for you.  As long as overall you are eating healthily, it will pay off in the long run.  It all depends on your needs and goals for body health.  If you are working at hitting a certain weight goal or training for a marathon, your needs will be different.

Your spirit needs attention too.  Whether you are spiritual or not, take time to reflect, get quiet and just be.  It may be time on a hiking trail connecting to nature, or a walk in your neighborhood.  Perhaps setting aside 10 minutes a morning to meditate (quiet your chatter and get centered).  Prayer or contemplation.  Practicing gratitude.  Whatever works for you. 

Take time to reflect on what are the minimum things you need to thrive?  Depending on your current goals and needs this can change and morph over time. To start with, keep it simple, 3-5 things you must do every day in order to show up.  A Dailies example is:  Meditate, Eat Well, Walk, Connect, Learn Something New.  Let’s work together to define your Dailies and implement them in your day.  You’ll be amazed at the transformation that will occur.   https://kellyofcreeksong.com/#request-a-call
